HIV cases in the UK continue to increase and are up by 5000 to 58300

Bullying is a current major concern following recent severe damage to young people at school.

Our surveys, which are used nationwide (and beyond), show quite a range of levels of behaviour from community to community and from school to school. Included in the data collected are levels of fear of being bullied at school, and hence fear of going to school.

David first came to SHEU in 1986, after spending some years teaching biology, to study for a research degree - 'Self-concept and conformity in theories of health education', 1990, University of Exeter. (Ph.D).

James Muirden started the 'Education and Health' journal in 1983 and it was well established when the editor's pen was handed over 17 years later to David McGeorge. He continued the tradition of publishing articles relevant to those concerned with the healthy development of young people and, after 16 years in June 2016, the editor's pen was handed to Dr David Regis.

We are always seeking new contributors to ensure that each issue produces an eclectic mixture of articles.
