Report-writing
We are often asked to 'kick-start' the composition of local reports based on our survey work. Many authorities have consulted with us right the way through to publication. We have also been invited to attend events as a reporter, resulting in publications like Asthma in the Classroom (National Asthma Campaign). MORE about our reports

Layout and printing
We design and typeset our own questionnaires, reports and our journal Education and Health. We can undertake layout, desk-top publishing and printing for surveys, booklets, and more substantial works.

Databank analysis
Our existing databanks of health-related behaviour can be analysed to search for particular connections and has been borrowed for a number of projects, most notably in the evaluation of the National Healthy Schools Programme.

Comments about SHEU

"The Schools Health Education Unit is the jewel in the crown of the Health Education Authority." Major General Sir John Acland 1928 - 2006

Major General Sir John Acland

"We were talking about (the SHEU survey) data at our recent NSCoPSE Conference, for PSHE advisers and consultants. It would be really helpful if some of this powerful data and the trends could be shared in the consultation around the PSHE Review. Colleagues shared their very positive experiences of (the SHEU survey). It provides excellent evidence of behaviour change for children and young people and of the impact of PSHE and wider interventions."

Please could our College be part of the SHEU survey this academic year? We did it in 2016 and 2017 and found it incredibly informative and it helped us shape our PSHE provision.
